Oakdale Project Management Services Limited carry out a wide range of design and management services. A large part of the design work carried out is related to golf course design & construction encompassing work to the actual course, the irrigation systems and clubhouse design. We have also designed and built the
ancillary facilities for greenkeepers and water storage systems, both in the UK and abroad (see T &G Irrigation's pages for more details).
The commission for the design of The Lincolnshire Golf Club, formerly Hirst Priory Park Golf Course, was undertaken in 1994 and the course was opened for play in 1995. The source was laid out on farm land surrounding the old Priory building and a great care was taken to make use of the magnificent old trees that were scattered around the park. Terraforming was carried out to create lakes for both irrigation storage and to encourage wildlife habitation. The course is maturing and a rolling programme of tree planting is being carried out to enhance the definition of the fairways.
