David R. Baxter

The Managing Director, graduated in 1969 from the University of Leeds with an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for a number of large construction firms, starting at Husband & Co. moving through John Howard & Co., Henry Boot, British Waterways Board, and ending at Birse PLC before he started the Oakdale Group in 1990.

Interests include golf and cars.

Linda Baxter

Company Secretary, and married to David. Linda helped start Oakdale back in 1990. She looks after all the accounts and day to day running of the company.

Her interests include cross-stitch.

David & Linda have one son together, Mark - a surgeon in Liverpool, and former IT Consultant to Oakdale. www.mdbaxter.com
